My experience in landscape design and installation has provided me with a solid foundation in Business and UX design. The process of creating a landscape involves understanding client needs, responding to feedback, and presenting designs in a way that is both visually appealing and functional. This experience has allowed me to better comprehend the skills and topics I am currently studying. Some of the most important skills that I gained through this experienxe were attention detail, effective communication, and the ability to adapt based on client feedback.
In landscape design, I used CAD software to provide clients with exact measurements and detailed plans. This not only ensured accuracy but also helped clients visualize the final design. Similarly, in UX design, wireframes and prototypes serve the same purpose, allowing clients to see a tangible representation of the design before it is fully developed.
Physical rendered designs play a crucial role in helping clients get a better visual understanding of the project. By creating realistic renderings, I was able to effectively communicate the design to clients, allowing them to see how the final product would look in their space. This approach is also valuable in UX design, where high-fidelity prototypes can provide a clear picture of the user interface and experience. Additionally, this process significantly improved my communication skills as I thoroughly enjoyed working with my clients to bring their ideal landscapes to life.
